about me

I’m a Detroit-based ceramic artist creating wheel-thrown functional wares rooted in natural tones and modern forms. My journey with clay began over a decade ago and continues today through my work in a community studio. I balance my creative practice with my career as an intensive care nurse, a combination that continually teaches me patience.

Below are pieces deep in the archive from when I was in high school. The swirl design seen in my artist stamp is a tribute to these forms.

Ceramic vase with three sections decorated with carved spiral and swirl patterns.
An artistic ceramic vase with a smooth, glossy, reddish-brown upper section and a spherical base decorated with numerous spiral patterns.
Decorative bowl with intricate spiral patterns inside, resembling wood grain or swirling lines, with a green exterior and scalloped edge.
